How are you supposed to apply it to the skin? What's the best way to get rid of acne using tea tree oil?
I am afraid the better question might have been ' What can I use for my acne as tea tree oil does not work?'
Try over the counter cleanser/degreasers such as Panoxyl. If these don't help your GP can prescribe topical or oral antibiotics which are very effective. What's the best way to get rid of acne using tea tree oil?
Tea tree oil is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves of Melaleuca alternifolia . Tea tree oil is purported to have antiseptic properties and has been used traditionally to prevent and treat infections. While numerous laboratory studies have demonstrated antimicrobial properties of tea tree oil (likely due to the compound terpinen-4-ol), only a small number of high-quality trials have been published. Human studies have focused on the use of topical tea tree oil for fungal infections (including fungal infections of the nails and athlete's foot), acne, and vaginal infections. However, there is a lack of definitive available evidence for the use of tea tree oil in any of these conditions, and further study is warranted.
I use it full strength but the smell is very strong that way so I using it pretty sparingly. I apply it in the evening, after I've washed and moisturized my face. I get 3-4 drops in my hand and rub it on one area of my face, once the fumes have cleared out a bit I put it on another part of my face, etc. I use it maybe 2-4 evenings a week.
I believe it does help control the spread of acne but I've noticed the main difference with blackheads. I have HUGE pores on my nose and have always had a problem with blackheads no matter how clean I try to keep my face but once I started using tea tree oil regularly the have cleared out a lot.
I've been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it's at.
I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.
I'm 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.
Literally the best acne face wash I've ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It's unique cause of it's herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem dot com at the time which was helpful.
You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn't work it will still save you butt on the return policy.
Well good luck and best wishes.
