Castor oil and tea tree oil for acne?

Is a homemade mixture of 5 parts castor oil 1 part tea tree safe to apply to pimples? And will it work?Castor oil and tea tree oil for acne?
I believe the common theory is to use the oil cleansing method (OCM) with 3 parts castor oil to 1 part jojoba/olive oil for acne-prone skin. I've read too that jojoba is generally the better choice as olive oil is comedogenic. You can also add tea tree oil to that, a drop or two would probably be enough, or you can spot treat after you clean with tea tree oil.

Despite how ridiculous it may sound, tea tree oil is a great antibacterial agent, and castor oil is known for having healing properties. Just make sure you're diluting that castor oil with another oil like the two I mentioned above. Hope that helps!Castor oil and tea tree oil for acne?
Tea tree oil might help. A lot of acne products contain salicylic acid (the stuff in aspirin). I was diagnosed with adult acne recently and found that if I dissolve an aspirin in a tiny bit of water and dab that on my face, it clears it up. It is a really cheap way to do it. I use a baby aspirin in about a tablespoon of water. Way cheaper than some of those products they sell for acne.
i see no reason why it would be unsafe so you've nothing to lose by trying it, but home remedies are usually not as effective as medicinal creams that your doctor will be able to prescribe for you. if you're finding it really hard to get rid of your pimples then your GP will be perfectly understanding and will either recommend a store bought cream or prescribe you something.
no it wont i have had acne forever the best thing for is plain and simple ivory soap and water. Also, if it becomes a very bad case of actual acne then your dr. or dermatologist can prescribe many helpful things hope i helped
it is safe, but i'm not sure if it will work.

edgar cayce recommended castor oil for acne and tea tree oil helps clear pores, but it just depends on the person.

it won't hurt to try and at worst will just make ur skin softer.

^^
Tea Tree Oil is an antiseptic.

Tea Tree Oil alone can work on acne if you don't mind the smell. I'd leave the castor oil out.
Sounds pretty much ridiculous to me!
