i wanted to buy their high performance balancing cleansing oil, but i dont know if that would help or make my acne worse.Does Shu uemura cleansing oil work for acne?
i am currently using the thebalancing oil, both the classic cleasning oil ie: ';green '; one and the high performance cleansing oil ie: yellow one. as there are several in that line of cleansing oils, well at least in asia.
i understand your concerns of using skin car that may aggravate your acne condition, as an acne sufferer i was fearful of products that will amke me break out, and its such a tough battle to win. however, i have been using this product and have foundthat it has not aggravated my condition, but i think the piint to note hear is that as long as you have your acne condition under control and not constantly breaking out then this product should be okay. since it has no claim of being acnegenic or non comodogenic i am not sure if it can ben clinically proven to not cause break outs, however from my first hand experience i have not found it too.
this product does however have an oily texture, and some people who are not sure of how to use it are fretful and are scared off by its oily texure......and think it will clog pores...blah blah etc....but i think by using it correctly it should not pose a problem. the correct way to use it is to make sure you apply the product to a dry face and onto dry hands....';do not '; apply onto wet hands or wet face like other cleansing products, as this will kick start the oils cleanisng effect diluting it before it can grab onto make up and before you have the chance to distribute the oil evenly over the face....so remember dry hands and face is a must.....!!! also once applied evely and you have massaged it briefly onto makeup , then get some water and start lathering it onto the oil film, this will help kick statrt the oil to help dissolve you makeup, and also starts transforming the oily tecture into one that soo becomes soluble with water, then repeat untill you get the desired feling of cleanliness and have lost the oily texture of the oil film when used correctly i do ot believe this problem leaves a greasy film on the face nor do i think it poses problems for acne skin, but ';Do'; follow with another cleanser, as using this soley is not suffice to do a good clean of the face, and if this is the only thing u plan to use to clean the face then i advise you not to use this product, as i merely use it for removing make up..however, after the oil I use proactive!!! that has helped with my acne so much, !!! (proactive its no gimmick, and im so happy that the pimples are at bay now, it even helps with blemishes which use to take yearssssssssss/decades to eliminate, )
i use the cleasing oil as the first step to my skin care regimen to remove makeup, otherwise if i have no makeup on then i skip using it and go straight to my cleanser stage.
i actually prefer the green one over the premium oil, as the green one has the added benefit of a realy nuce cucumber fragrance and is suppose to help fiht free readical daamge as it has antioxidants,
cleansing oils are very popular in asia, and all have this oily tecture, as it grabs onto makeup well and dissolves it much better than make up wipes etc....nearly all skin care lines carry one on there product list, some kind of cleasing oil in asia... and i know australia have not launched this fad yet, but then again australia is slow to catch onto stuff like this, asia has had sk11 for soo long and has had cloth mask as a popular skin care regimen ,,,,,,i have only started seeing sightings and promotions of such innovations introduced into the aust market onyl recently since last year.
such oils are so popular in asia and everyone uses it, though of course there are varying contents and prices but in general the texture is the same,,,,,and they all seem ok and have not caused some out cry in break outs...so i beleive if its so widely used and popular in asia, and no one seems to be breaking out heaps and it poses no problem in this agenda then i believe it should pose no real threat as long as you have another skin care regimen in place which targets the acne problem alongside using the oil. and make sure you use another cleanser in addition .supplemtens after the oil step which i believe only efffective fro removing makeup etc.....using this alone is not adequate to cleanse to your face,,,thats is what will pose acne psorblems if any...
but one thing to note people have siad that tis product is merely only mineral oils ,,,,and some have fears that it may clog pores, but then again peoeple have la mer cause break outs yet some people find la mer works miracles and wonders on there skin,,,,but i have found the oil it deems to works on mine. so you make the choice, used correctly i find it ok and effective, but no superior to others of other cleansing oil from other skincare product lines.
if you can go into your shu uemura store and hassle em for a sample..they should have some. make sure you get them to advise you of how to use the product as well..... !
and re reading your question%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;i believe i got a lil side tracked... if you are relying on this problem to help with your acne conditon then dont bother,,,but if you are wondering if this will hinder or make acne worse then it should not pose any real threats...if you are looking for something for you r acne try proactive i have triedtrilllion zillion things micro dermabrasion pills and sun lamps, topical treatments, antibiotics, retinol, green peels. facials, extractions, minomycin, dermatologist and proactive really works ...my skin was a little senstive at first but after i used it every 2 days at first untill my skin adapted and got use to it, it was great.,....
i hope this helps inform your decision to buy/not buy, as the last thing you want is seomthing you spend moeny on and doesnt work and worse still aggravates your skin,,,i ahgve been there and thrown so much money at teh beauty industry not funny.....been threre done that, i tried everything to get rid of break outs....if you have not used cleansing oils before u may want to use a cheaper
cleansing oil brand and see how ur skin responds before splurging on the shu uemura one which is a more expensive cleansing oil that is mrerely a good mild make up remover.
as long as you do not have hopes on this to help assist intreating your acne and will supplememnt with another cleanser then worth trying,,,,,if u dun mind the price. i recommend the green one i love the smelll,,,and soo refreshingDoes Shu uemura cleansing oil work for acne?
I would not use it on acne, U need oil-free for Acne. It is very important to keep your face clean and oil-free when U have Acne.
