I am 12 almost 13 and just started getting zits. I have tons on my forehead and nose, so since my parents thought the one i wanted was to expensive. I went with the oil-free acne wash cream cleanser by neutrogena. Does it work? Or should i return it?I just bought Neutrogena oil-free acne wash cream cleanser ?

I have the oil-free acne wash cleanser, but its not a cream.
And this works very well paired with benzoyl peroxide.
Im not sure how well the actual cream works, and remember that a product doesn't work for everyone. But neutrogena, i've found, is a very good brand that does a good job of keeping my skin clear.
You can try it out, and if it doesn't work then go buy something else.

i have been using this for 2 weeks now and on the first week it worked really well, there was a massive improvement, but on the second week it stopped working properly and my spots weren't going. Just keep on using it twice a day. Clear skin takes a lot of patience. If you have moderate to severe acne then products off the shelf won't do enough. Is it possible to become dependent on b5 to stop oil and fight acne?
I've been taking b5 to help stop oil production, and it seems to clear my skin, but will I always need to take it? What I mean is, after puberty, will my body still understand to naturally slow oil production(assuming I won't suffer from adult acne)? Is it possible to become ';dependent'; on a vitamin? How effective is pure Jojoba oil in treating acne?

I'm an esthetician. You don't want to use jojoba oil to treat your acne. The only oil that will will bring any sort of calmness to the breakouts is tea-tree oil. If you're looking for a inexpensive way to clear up your skin, purchase Dial antibacterial hand soap. (the orange colored one) It has an ingredient called triclosan which will help to clear up break outs. After cleansing, dot tea-tree oil on the breakouts. Let dry. Then you HAVE TO USE A MOISTURIZER!! If you let your skin get too dry, it will begin to protect itself by holding onto any oil that it produces. Use an oil-free moisturizer at least once a day. Cetafil is a drugstore brand that works well. Hope this helps.How effective is pure Jojoba oil in treating acne?
Jojaba oil seems to work for me. I use about a small dab on any affected areas but I avoid the back and anything covered by clothing because the heat increases acne. It works by absorbing light and essentially killing bacteria directly by cooking them.

Oil is not healthy for your skin. also lot of the products out there may get rid of your acne, but are terrible for your skin because they have so many chemicals in them. If you have overactive pores you should a calmer face cleanser. I use France Laure. you might find it at a dermatologist office.

Mary Kay has a great system for acne prone skin. Velocity skin care is 3 in 1 cleanser (cleanser, toner and exfoliant) great for young skin. Next apply Blemish Control Toner to your face and neck using a cotton ball. It contains acne medication and will dry and heal acne pimples. Last, apply Velocity moisturizer, which leaves your skin feeling soft and hydrated, controls oil and gives you a nice matte finish. Finish with your favourite Mary Kay foundation. I have seen acne noticeably better a day after starting this routine. The first link is Mary Kay in Canada, the other is worldwide.
Neutrogena really does work for pimples and you can get it oil acne free. I have been using it and recomend it because i have seen an improvemet on my face especially my forehead.

Loads of people use proactive, it also depends what age you are, i was using it and it bleached the towel that i patted dry my face with so if it can do that who knows what chemicals are in it so i dont recommend it, tenosix is really good, neutrogena, just make sure any product you put on your face is oil free and you should be right also clearisal oil control face wipes are really good, i use them with my loreal toner and tenosix moisturiser and a night cream i got from avon and my acne is nearly gone. (Depends what country you are in, some of the products i use may not be available were you live)

Go to a local walgreens or walmart or whatever and look for Biore products. There is a face cleanser called ';bior COOL cleanser for acne'; , and it feels good when you apply it to your face and wash it off.
There is also Biore non oil face lotion- incase your face gets dry. Dryness of the face can also cause zits- so check this lotion out if this occurrs if you start getting a dry face.
There is also one more product from Biore, its called Biore strips. They work extremely well and get rid of all the oils and dirt from your face when you put them on.
Overall, defienetly buy the Biore face wash, and if you really like that, and it works well on YOUR skin, then check out some of their other great products that i explained to you about and how well they work.
I know all this from past expierence, I love all these products, and continue to use them everyday.

Does anyone use tea tree oil for acne?
I've been using it for a few weeks. I was trying to use it for spot treatment, but I just couldn't stand the smell. I started putting a few drops on my Clean %26amp; Clear cleansing pads. I'm allergic to benzoyl peroxide, so I can only use salicylic acid products, which isn't strong enough to help my acne. Does anyone use it? Or have you used it? Did it work for you, and how long did it take?Does anyone use tea tree oil for acne?
My best friend uses it, and she says it works great.
